Women’s Education Society was established in the year 1932. Driven by the mission of overall development of women, the members have always strived hard towards the goal. Thus as an integral part of the society, they have joined hands with the national policies of development of women.

Lady Amritbai Daga College for women is accredited by the National Assesment and Acreditation Council, and autonomous Institution of the University Grants Commission, at the A Level . The NAAC last reviewed the School in 2003.

Other Facilities :

Games and Sports - The College participates in University and Inter-University sports and has been represented regularly in National and State tournaments winning much kudos.

N.S.S. (National Service Scheme) : The College has been selected by the University for this Central Government Scheme since 1969-70 and many students participate in this activity.

Adventure Club : National Adventure foundation club has been started in the college during 1995-96 session with a view to build up the personality, character and to promote team spirit amongst youth by undertaking adventure campus and other activities.

N.C.C. (National Cadet Corps) : The National Cadet Corps, one of the oldest units, established in 1949 provides training and opportunities for N.C.C. Training.
